The first word that comes to mind when i think about my trip to Morioka is definitely inspiring.
This amazing experience has connected me with great people that live in a beautiful country. During my stay in Japan I was very surprised by the strength and positive outlook in life of these people, despite the losses and hardships of a natural disaster. I felt so comfortable I didn’t even have time to miss my home! I was always welcomed with a smile by both the students of Morioka Chuo High School and my host family, and that is something that I admire.
I had lots of fun and got the chance to meet people from every continent and learn from their cultures and habits, you don’t get to live that every day! I bonded with lots of people and created friendships I will keep for a long time.
It was, with no doubt, the most enriching experience of my life. I feel extremely blessed and thankful that I was given this opportunity. The memories of this trip will never be forgotten.
