El Foro | The Forum

Morioka Chuo High School organiza desde 1999 el Foro Internacional de Educación, mediante el cual convoca a estudiantes de escuelas hermanas de todo el mundo. A través del Foro, MCHS pretende estimular la formación de una ciudadanía mundial capaz de abordar distintas problemáticas desde un enfoque global, a través del reconocimiento y valoración de la diversidad cultural y el incentivo al diálogo entre jóvenes provenientes de distintas partes del planeta. Las temáticas suelen estar vinculadas a la comprensión y el cuidado del Medio Ambiente.

El tema del 14º Foro fue “Reconstruyendo Iwate, reconstruyendo Japón juntos”

El tema del 15º Foro será “¿Qué podemos hacer por el medio ambiente?”

Since 1999, Morioka Chuo High School organizes the Chuo International Education Forum, which gathers students from sister schools around the world. Through the Forum, students learn to address an issue from a global perspective. Recognition and appreciation of cultural diversity are keys for youth to develop a global citizenship, by sharing experiences with students from all over the world. Usually, the forum’s themes are related to the understanding and care of the global environment.

On 2012, the 14^th Forum’s theme was ‘Rebuilding Iwate, rebuilding Japan together’

On 2013, the 15th Forum’s theme will be ‘What can we do for our environment?’
